Sunday, April 9, 2017 was presented at Vinitaly the first festival of rosé wines sponsored and organized by the National Association Le Donne del Vino. It is Sorrento Rosé, the first Rosè Wines Festival to be held from 12 to 14 May in the capital of the Sorrento Peninsula with an exceptional godmother: Lidia Bastianich.
The program includes three days of important events during which restaurants, pizzerias and wine bars in the center of Sorrento will be colored with rosé. Many guests: wine producing, reporters and journalists, ambassadors of the Association Le Donne del Vino and sommeliers.
The heart of the event will be at Villa Fiorentino, the seat of the Sorrento Foundation. In a synergy with the municipality, and the private individuals that will be part of it, the Foundation will program important events and interventions aimed at promoting the image of the City of Sorrento. The Festival has the patronage of the Municipality of Sorrento, the Campania Region and the partnership of Ais Campania, in addition to the support of numerous sponsors.
For this important event were organized round tables, chat with producers, a tasting board with over 100 labels from all over Italy and abroad, aperitifs and street pizza by Antonino Esposito. An intense and rich program to tell all the faces of this versatile, social and positive wine.
